General:

The Waterclean 500 water purification system can process untreated water from almost any natural source into drinking water by means of reverse osmosis. It operates on a multi-barrier principle to remove literally all pollution from the raw water that is invisible to the naked eye, including salts dissolved in the water, thereby pointing the way beyond the ▪ possibilities of ultra-filtration. The reverse osmosis system enables single-stage (single pass) or two-stage (double pass for highly contaminated raw waters; optional) filtration and can be 1.1P used as a stand-alone solution. The double-pass is only necessary e.g. after terror attacks or industrial catastrophes. The quality of the drinking water treatment process has been checked and certified by independent institutes (TOV, Fraunhofer Society, water utilities, etc.).
